So a regular inspection of the EGR Valve is necessary. I’ve spoken to a Renault service engineer regarding the turbo noise and it's not supposed to make any. When the engine runs around 1400 RPM cold I get that howling noise, it can be clearly heard but when warm is quietens down a little. IV checked piping which seem ok. The modded intercooler looks ok to, when looking at it from the front with the grill off, the left side is just slightly higher than the other side but I think that may be due to the rad uneven. Could this be an airleak or bearings.
1 other thing is that if the EGR valve got stuck and the engine got hot, would the temp gauge rise above normal. Mine sits below the mid range.
