I'm not sure if these parts are available from Renault I would check the availability and price from your local Renault parts centre first before bidding/buying from ebay

RENAULT MEGANE SCENIC WINDOW REGULATOR BRACKET 2003-07 on eBay, also, Renault, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 29-Dec-07 19:56:27 GMT)

The Pic above shows the original part and the new modified part.

I believe Renault will change a damaged part if the vehicle is under 4 years old .
This is my first post - I hope someone finds it useful.

Needed to replace my passenger side window regulator bracket today - it had snapped exactly as the picture shown above.

Went to local Renault dealer (Wolverhampton) and bought a pair of brackets for 3.10. They only come in pairs from Renault. He did say that the only reason you could buy them (without having to buy the whole regulator) was because there had been a recall on them, and that they are being replaced during services.

I replaced the passenger one myself - very easy job.

Once you've taken the door panel off (desribed elsewhere on this forum), the regulator comes out of the door by removing a further 2 torx screws (one is already removed as part of taking the door panel off). Disconnect electrical connection plug from motor (on the regulator frame).

With the regulator out of the door, slide the new bracket onto the regulator and attach the two ends of the regulator cable to the bracket - all while the regulator is out of the door.

Once bracket is attached to the regulator, re-fit the regulator into the door with the 2 torx screws. Re-connect the electrical connection plug to the motor and use electric window switch to move the green bracket into view - if it isn't already!

Manually slide the window down towards the green bracket and align the small hole in the bottom of the window with the screw hole in the bracket. Fit the small torx screw that came with the new style bracket, into the green bracket to fix the bracket to the window.

Job done - apart from re-fitting the door panels.

(Sorry I didn't take photos during the job).
