Some Buying advice for a Noob!

hi everyone what a great site you have here!.

I went to see a laguna 1.9 initial estate tonight. The car has 84k on the clock and is in quite good shape except a small crack in the wing, a small dent & the driver front wheel sensor was not working (is this an expensive job)

He wants 3600 for it and it has good service history etc..

is this a good deal or is there better out there.

I know this is the million dollar question but can i expect much trouble free motoring from it?
