Re: Clio Campus 07 Reg - Brake Pad Replacement

Take off the wheels you can then check the condition of the pads, cheap pads can screech but worn pads make a grinding sound when the pedal is pressed. You don't need to change any sensor there is a wear wire and plug on the pads, this connects to the loom. Have you a brake warning light on the dash? If the pads aren't too worn a little red grease or copaslip on the contact points and on the back of the pads often stops a squeak. Brembo are good pads, they're easy to change a big G clamp is useful but not essential. I always open the bleed screw before pushing in the piston. DON'T mess around with brakes if you’re not 100% sure of what you’re doing, you or someone else could wind up dead!

I brought our vacuum cleaner to an American that repairs appliances. I said, "this Hoover doesn't suck", he replied "come back when it does"
