brakes,abs,ign on

just read some where to leave the ign on so to allow the abs to let the fluid back,when doing the brakes, do i need to do this? ive never done it before,

you can leave the ignition off all it does is bypass the abs pump, if you want a total bleed and fluid replacement you are sopossed to use renault clip to actuate the ABS solenoids. I just bleed with engine running on some models just watch the pressure, if you cant here the ABS pump vibrat though you will need clip or simular

In a book I have it says don't have the ignition on,
and be careful not to let air get into the ABS pump as it is very difficult to remove.

Who would design a vehicle that falls over when you stop?

If you find a fix for your problem please let us know it will help others.

When retracting the caliper pistons it is advised to open the bleeders so fluid won't be forced back through the ABS control unit or master cylinder.
