I put pads on my parters car all round a while back and it was the same as you but if you go on a few long runs after a few days you will be ok my partners laguna brakes like a mo fo now

Exactly what I meant Noel, I'm so used to driving the Scooby with it's Brembo's and braided hoses that I may well have lost the idea of a normal pedal ffeel.

In fact, I drove the Scenic to work again today and again the brakes work fine, the reservoir level is fine and they aren't actually as spongy as I first thought they were!

The hiss I mentioned ain't no leak as far as I can tell, in fact I think it's probably quite normal now having driven a 2011 Movano van today which hisses the same when depressing the brakes, most likely just the fluid movement
