Kangoo front brakes binding.

I have a kangoo 1.5DCI on a 53 plate. When the van has been run for approx 10 miles or so around town the front brakes begin to bind severely to the point where it struggles to pull away. It usually releases after 5-10 mins and all is well again, but this is happening every time the van is driven. A mechanic has stripped and cleaned the brakes and found nothing obvious.
Please help!!!!
Thanks in advance.
Regards, Mike

Re: Kangoo front brakes binding.

would put it down to rusty pistons or seals did he remove the piston completlty and clean or just work the pistons back and to ?
are they sitting level or cockled?
id change the callipers if it continues, did he check pad faces for uneven wear and the discs?

Re: Kangoo front brakes binding.

Also check the guide pins on the calipers, they tend to rust, making it difficult for the calipers to move on the hub.
