My rear brakes makes an awfull noise. This has been looked at by the dealer twice in the last four months. The first time they replaced the pads and calipers and the noise returned after a month. The second time the dealer said that renault had stopped them fitting new parts to solve this problem.
The dealer and my lease co now both say that Renault know about this issue and are hoping to redesign the disks/ calipers to eliminate this noise in the future. Thought this info might be usefull.
Cheers

This is a subject that has come up before - you could try a search for the problem. The problem with all brakes on new cars is that they no longer have asbestos in them IMHO. Might be worth trying a local garage. Have the pads removed, the calipers blasted with compressed air and then ask them to refit them with some copper grease to see if this will help. In the past my local garage has also chamfered the leading edge of some pads which seemed to permanently solve the problem
