Another option, you could take the speedo binical off and see if the bulb has blown!

I appreciate you're trying to help but it would be better if you read through the thread first... if you had you may have seen comments like:

"The ABS dashboard warning lights light up and go out as they should when the ignition is first put on."

Or

"I disconnected the drivers side wheel sensor today, this put the ABS light on, when I reconnected the sensor and drove the car a few yards the light went out"

Come on man, use your eyes.

Cheers.

Is KKL cable the same as the K-line cable ?

Cheers.
I use the blue K-line interface currently available on eBay for less than 6 pounds:

This interface is not always 100% as I have noticed I sometimes need to unplug the interface to be able to connect to the various ECUs. Its cable is 1.5 metres long so perhaps a wee bit too long or of poor quality.

That's the same cable I have from that exact seller, it has a sticker on it that says VAG KKL.

It did work with the car a few times, I even posted a screen shot of what I got from it in one of my posts, I think you replied on that thread also.

Despite trying 2 different laptops I now can't get the cable / DDT2000 to work & read anything from the car.

Cheers.
