That's the same cable I have from that exact seller, it has a sticker on it that says VAG KKL.

It did work with the car a few times, I even posted a screen shot of what I got from it in one of my posts, I think you replied on that thread also.

Despite trying 2 different laptops I now can't get the cable / DDT2000 to work & read anything from the car.

Cheers.
It is a rather cheap interface so perhaps yours has burnt out. At less than 6 pounds each you can probably buy an new one each time you need to connect to the car.

Re: Laguna II - ABS not working but no warning lights ?

Yeah it could be knackered, but it could be something to do with the DTT2000 software, I may reinstall it and have another try, but as you said it's a bit hit and miss at the best of times.

Can you tell me where in DTT2000 can you test the ABS pump and operate the 4 valves?

I think the problem I'm having must be something to do with the pump / motor or something along that line.

I'm guessing that the 5A abs fuse in the drivers side fuse box is the power to the ABS ECU, maybe as long as this has power to it, it is able to monitor the wheel speed sensors so maybe that's why I have no warning light.
Is there another fuse / relay somewhere that feeds the power to the ABS pump motor and the solenoids as these components must pull more than 5A when in use?

Cheers.

Re: Laguna II - ABS not working but no warning lights ?

Main fuse for ABS unit is rather big around 50 - 80 amps so won't be inside cabin.
This fuse is fitted in engine fuse and relay box next to battery in my Kangoo.
I shall see if I can get a few screen shots showing DDT2000 testing ABS pump and valves.

I'll have to find out where this big fuse is as maybe the problem is something to do with that.

Cheers.

Re: Laguna II - ABS not working but no warning lights ?

Pulling the big fuse on my Trekka makes instruments light up like a Christmas tree.

Tried getting DDT2000 to work but had no luck. Looks like there was bad contact between multiplexer and diagnostics port. Wiggling multiplexer sorted it out. The blue multiplexer has very thin pins so perhaps that's the cause.

Screen showing ABS computer identification etc.

Screen that allows running of ABS pump and operation of valves. Some knowledge of French is a bonus.

Screen showing engine and sensor data etc.
