Renault quote for discs & pads!

I own a Scenic Dci on a 55 plate, and noticed some squealing noise from rear o/side wheel, it appears I have a 'stuck' caliper one one side. Upon inspection Renault have confirmed my pads are 'shot' on one side and my disc is scored, apparently you have to buy discs and pads in pairs??? So I have a quote of 291 for rear discs and pads - is this good?

Also what sort of mileage would you expect from a pair of pads?

Re: Renault quote for discs & pads!

The pads yes you buy in pairs, but disc no.

I had the same on car, just replaced the disc on one side and that was it.

Where did you get the quote from ?

Disks and pads all round for my LagII from a local motor factors 250. That included on the rear bearing and ABS sensor per disk, the manufacture was Apec

Hope this may help

Don't know about anybody else on here but i'd always replace the discs on both sides.

Along with new pads of course!

Loads of listings on ebay for new discs in pairs.

I've never seen a single disc listed
