Yep, already did that mate while at the public computers at the library and tried this but nothing still.
I've just been getting the wheel off to look at it, it's actually the offside not nearside as I originally thought, but anyway, got the wheel off and have applied and unapplied the brake several times and the cable is definitely moving, however, it is not going back to its stop.
If you look at the picture below
The green arrow is the stop where the arm (red arrow) should rest.
This picture is taken with the brake applied but when taking it off the cable only goes back about one quarter or the distance
Whereas when I looked underneath the nearside, it comes back almost onto the stop as there's supposed to be a small gap, however, as I say, the gap on the offsides huge.
So, now I don't know if it's a motor issue, a cable issue or what
