Renault Modus Pads and Discs.

Hello all,

have a Renault Modus 1.6 automatic and the pads and discs are getting due for changing. I will not be doing this myself, but may well supply the pads and discs as I can get them cheaper then my local Renault Dealer. Where would you reccomend I go for OEM pads and discs that are decent quality, but don't cost the earth.

Currently in Haree's garage:
I don't have a garage just a driveway. The Modus 1.6 16v VVT Dynamique Auto is my Grandparents car which I also drive.

Re: Renault Modus Pads and Discs.

As Pat says,Renault often run some decent deals on their genuine brakes. They have a 'second string' of OE spec parts called Motrio which are good value.See the link below,I've not used this company but it gives you an idea of their prices....

Compare it with a price from a local factor and go from there. If you order from ECP or GSF make sure you know exactly what make of parts they will send.I'd stick to a well known make (Bendix,Brembo, etc).

Don't forget ebay, there are plenty of named brand brake discs on there (Mintex, Apec, EBC, etc) at good prices.
