These pads in your car did you get them from Renault?

I put some generic pads on the fronts of an R20 and had exactly the same problem which drove me  :steam:

I complained like hell to the motor factor that I had them from in the end they let me return the ones I'd fitted and replaced them I think with Girlings, which whilst not so bad I was still getting squealing problems
I put up with this for a couple of months but in the end I put in OME Renault pads instantly the problem was solved.

When the new pads / disc's were fitted, whoever fitted them should also have fitted new springs to stop any squeaks or squeals.
If the springs are either missing, or haven’t been replaced
(Often because someone couldn't be bothered to fit new ones)
Then the pads maybe slightly loose, and therefore make the squealing noise.
If you can buy them by themselves, just replacing the springs maybe the least expensive way forwards.
