brake bleeding. scenic ll

hi, i need to bleed my front brakes, in the haynes manuel it says to start with the one furthest from the master cylinder which is one of the rears but i only want to do the fronts.
would it be ok if i dont do the rears and start on the front furthest from the master cylinder.
thanks for your help.

It is always advisable to bleed all four brakes because you have no way of knowing if air has entered the far reaches of the system
If you have recently been working at the front brakes it would do no harm to attempt to bleed them first but then go through the correct procedure thereafter.

It doesn't pay to take risks with brakes - like good friends you miss them most when they ain't around.
