Re: Grand Scenic Electronic Handbrake Stripdown Plus Photos
My car is 2006 2.0 VVT Auto. I have had to replace the rear nearside caliper and relaced all of the read brake pads at the same time.
I left the handbreak off when working on the brakes and I blead the breaks after doing the work before I put on the electronic handbrake. When I put on the handbrake for the first time there was a squeaking noise from the rear of the car (I imagined this to be the caipers adjusting themselves after the pads had been replaced). Now the handbrake will not come on and the warning light is on the dash.
I have tried to reset the handbrake following the instructions on here without success.
What have I done worng and what do I need to do to remedy the problem?
