Re: scenic abs strange noise when stopping slowely

Did you get it fixed.?
I've got the same problem, it happens when going over speed bumps or rough ground. There's a clicking noise from nearside wheel, sounds kind of like spinning the barrel of a handgun !! and then the ABS starts kicking in.

Re: scenic abs strange noise when stopping slowely

yeah sounds the same as mine how it started. yeah mine is fixed the metal clip holding the rubber gatter/joint had broken and grease had covered the toothed abs ring i replaced the clip cleaned the teeth out and removed sensor cleaned as all covered in grease had to change sensor as still playing up think it got damaged by the metal clip as it was stuck between sensor and the toothed abs ring but now all working back to normal hope it helps you out. i would try cleaning the toothed ring and remove sensor and clean it as if it greased up etc it could be playing up think your skidding when you are not. it really easy job just time consuming as there are so many teeth to clean use some wd40 or similar to help remove it thats what i used and a small flat screwdriver to get between teeth. hope that helps good luck
