02 Clio dci rear drums assembly
i have now changed the rear brakes on my 2002 Clio dci, and they seem to work fine during braking, but however my handbrake isnt working (almost at all). Fully applied i can still drive the car, however i can hear the brakes are being applied, but somehow with very little efficiency (maybe less than 5%).
I have connected the cable to the shoes properly and when I retract the handbrake, the "handbrake lever" on the shoe also moves.
However, on the top of the assembly of the two shoes, there is a metal stick, which separates the two shoes, and there is a "screw" that can enlarge this stick. This stick I have made as little as possible, otherwise the drums cannot go over the brakes (since they are new).
The handbrake cables and connections are fine...
