Ditto. For some reason an air wheel gun is not part of my travelling toolkit.
My old wheel brace is now on its sixth car. The things they give you nowadays are only good for getting into the car in an emergency.

A combination of overtightening and rounding them off.

Always insist its done by hand - if you have a puncture, that's the only method you'll have to remove them.

Re: Wheel Studs,what Torque!

Not a problem.

I encounter this very regularly as I remove wheels to refurbish them - and some feel almost welded in place.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
