Have you had new pads and discs fitted, or just new pads? Where they genuine OE parts or lesser quality aftermarket replacements?
Squeaking front brakes is not an unknown problem on Renault vehicles, or other vehicles for that matter. What you have to remember here is that the brake assemblies (pads, discs, calipers) are not made by Renault, but by other manufacturers like Lucas/Girling, ATE or Bosch.
Depending on the make fitted, there may be anti-rattle/anti-squeal shims fitted as original equipment, but these may not have been fitted if another source of pads has been used.
Generally speaking the squeal is caused by a build-up of brake dust on the leading edge of the brake pad. Applying a chamfer on the upper edge of the pads with a file often helps, as does the application of coppaslip or an anti-squeal compound (available from outlets like Halfords) to the pad backing plate (where it contacts the caliper piston).
