help with brake problem Renault Scenic

HI. I drive a Renault Scenic (limited edition Joie de Vivre). I sent it in for a full service (which included brakes). A couple of days after the service, my brakes failed and I had an accident. Renault are refusing to acknowledge any responsibility in this. The damage is enormous, and I want to know if anybody else out there has experienced anything similar with their brakes? It felt like a rock was beneath the brake pedal, and the vehicle would not brake at all. I tried to turn the car, and only got about a 20% angle turn - so suspect they did something weird to both brakes and steering when they 'serviced' it. Would love to hear form anyone who has experienced similar.
regards, Melissa

Re: help with brake problem Renault Scenic

It sounds as if the engine stalled and you lost both brake and steering assistance.

Has anyone done any investigations or inspections as to why the problem arose and if so what were their findings.

Without knowing the cause it would be difficult to apportion fault or blame.

Also what age is the car and does it have any warranty?
