Re: Laguna 2 NSF wheel bearing replaced now ABS fault ?

I hope it stays out!

The ABS fault cancels itself after about 20 yards, then after another 40 yards comes back on if the fault is still there.

Still, at least it is one of those self clearing fault types that does not need a diagnostics reset.

Like me, you are probably pretty quick now at getting those front hubs off and putting them back. I didn't have to do it, but at the time I was wondering how people replaced the bottom ball joint - either take off the arm and use a press, or find a clone of the Renault tool which might do it on the car - except mine are probably well rusted in.

Re: Laguna 2 NSF wheel bearing replaced now ABS fault ?

It's still out after a good few miles so all seems well.

The Lag 2 originally has riveted on bottom ball joints but if they have been replaced before they will more than likely be the bolted on type so that makes life easy.

The pressed in ball joints can be tricky but the method in this VIDEO shows you how to do them.
