Makes sense ralph. I had to apply serious pressure though. Far harder and longer than even an emergency stop.

My un educated brain sees the adjuster on one side being sticky and the prolonged hard force got it to adjust and take up the slack. Maybe it will need the same technique every so often to repeat the process as the pads wear...

Sound reasonable?

It may now be ok if it sticks again I would get some brake cleaner spray it round that sticky piston and work it in and out a few times to free it off a bit.

Who would design a vehicle that falls over when you stop?
