Re: Anti roll bar bushes...?

Well I didn't get round to changing the bushes, but the noise has since gone. I think the noise started during all this wet weather and now its getting warmer and drying out it has stopped. Good for me but let's hope it doesn't come back next winter.......

Re: Anti roll bar bushes...?

My 2006 scenic developed this creaking/graunching noise after only 2 years from new, just when going over speed humps, in certain conditions.
Anti roll-bar bushes were replaced under warranty, but the noise returned only after a further 7-8 months.
a) the new ones were fitted approx 5 years ago
b) Never picked up on MOT, even as advisory.
c) here's the ONLY makes this noise when it is particularly cold/damp.
I am convinced that, if I could get some silicon spray in the "right" place, it would not be so noisy over the speed humps
So... please can someone describe to me where exactly I need to get my spray nozzle to, to have any chance of "getting some in there".
Many Thanks, Steve
