Clio Sport Tourer, front passenger wheel excessivly hot.

I have a 61 plate Clio Sport Tourer. I went out last night and drove it around 16 miles. It was on Dual carraigeway so not much breaking except at junctions and lights. When I returned home there was a strong smell from the brakes, front passenger side only, and the wheel was very warm. I took the wheel off and checked everything out. All seems ok. Put the wheel back on and took it for a test drive around the same distance as the previous night. I could smell the brake smell very feintly and the wheel was no warmer than it would be. The car has done around 15.5K miles. I'm wondering why it only happened on the front passenger side. Any suggestions please?

Could be a sticking brake pad or caliper - ideally you would need to remove the brake pads for a proper check.
