espace rear brakes on v 6

hi all
can you lot help agen i have a v 6 espace and i had a problem with rear brakes .
with them grinding so i have looked and see that the pads are woren so , now i got new ones and the prod i got is that the pads are too think .
when puting back the capeler back on i have wind back the center pistion right back but still to think by what is the thinks nest of 2 .3 mill to think
so could eneyone help with this at moment i think i need to sand down to fit but a pane as i wasting pad

Hi - did you let the handbrake adjustment fully off before winding back the pistons.

I would tend to agree with madnoal that if you have not released the hand brake when doing this this would indeed give you a short fall where you will still not have enought room to put the new pads over the disc i hope this helps Donald

I too have to say the handbrake needs taking back in fact i take the cables off completely when i do mine and push the lever back to be sure new pads dont leave you much clearance on these
