Well, made the change and what a simple job. Took me about an hour, but that was because I did not do as suggested with the first caliper, and prise it open with a screw driver. Second one took about fifteen minutes or so, start to end. Surprisingly enough, there was still about a third of the original pads on, so am not sure why they were making a noise like they were. I was worried that there was a problem with the brakes, but with new pads on, no noise, so whats with that? Is it normal on Renaults to make a noise at the brakes with a third of life still on the pads?
