OK Clioextreme, I just thought it could be something to do with a CV joint or something. Good luck with finding the fault.

Ditto I first thought brakes, 6? !!!

Lining(s) may have delaminated and come loose or something like that, so jamming up in the reverse direction. Whatever it is it sounds very dodgy get it sorted ASAP, like with proper kosher Renault or Renault approved pads and hang the expense

There's one hell of a difference in width between the vented and un-vented but don't have a clue which your should have, I seem to remember there are 2 diameters as well.

Who would design a vehicle that falls over when you stop?

If you find a fix for your problem please let us know it will help others.

Re: Clio-noise when reversing but not drive shafts

It's currently fitted with vented as the previous owner upgraded the front braking (thought it was a racecar) and installed new callipers carriers and pads and discs so that it could support vented discs instead of the solid ones as to the diamiter of the disc that's what I'm going to find out today hopefully

Thanks everyone clioextreme
