how to replace rear right side brake cylinder on renault 19 mk1 1991 14cv petrol 5dr
Hello everyone, I am a new member and this is my first post. I am currently in france and am attempting to repair the back brake cylinder which has a small brake fluid leak. I have difficulty in asking for this information in french!! so please! can I ask for instructions, advice and possibly any pictures on how to remove the hub plate on my rear right hand brake drum. I have a small leak of brake fluid there and need to change the cylinder. However, before I can order the part, I need to find out whether the cylinder is bendix or lucas. So I need to get the parts off. I have a size 30 socket and have removed the central hub nut. Once I have removed the hub nut and washer, is there anything else that needs to be removed? I get to a sur clip - does this come off? Once I have taken off the hub nut and washer, my question is does the rest just pull off? Please can anyone help me urgently...
Renault 19, petrol, left had drive, 14cv, 1991 mark 1 model.... many thanks for all your help.
