Megane brake loss (2010)

Hi everyone

I've searched for an answer to my problem but can't find a solution so hope you can help.

I purchased a 10 plate megane estate in July and all seemed fine but by late September the brake pedal was almost at the floor before it would brake....took it to kwik fit who said it was just air in system the brakes and it was ok again.

Then about 4 weeks later it was bake to being on the floor. ...took it to my usual garage who tried to bleed them but said it wasn't working to start with but kept trying in and got them better. ..cost me £100!

That was 1 week ago and it's back to being in the floor. ...any suggestions?

Garage said no obvious leak but it would need to go to their main site if not fixed as they couldn't do anymore. Can't afford to throw mone at it if it's just going to go back again.

Re: Megane brake loss (2010)

"No obvious signs of leaks", nevertheless this needs to be investigated fully for obvious reasons.

Another thing, and more likely if there's no signs of leakage, is a bad brake master cylinder or brake booster. If you're not handy with a spanner yourself, perhaps ask your garage to check them!

Currently in scatz's garage:
2004 Subaru Legacy GT Spec B, a 2013 2.0 TDCi Titanium X Sport S-Max and a 2001 Honda NSR125R
