Renault Clio (2006) - ABS Unit Failure
I've followed this forum for a long time, and it's always been a fountain on knowledge and now I need some advice!
I've recently been having loads of car issues some normal wear and tear and others due to bad garages/mechanics.
The latest is a failure of the ABS ECU/pump in my car. I've taken it to a Renault dealer and they've said that it's a complete failure and a new pump/ECU will need to be ordered in and fitted. This isn't going to be cheap, they've quoted my just over £600.
Is there a cheaper way to fix this? Now normally this on it's own wouldn't be too bad, but with the other things that I know that I'll have to pay up with my car (cam belt, cross member rusting, broken rear seat belt etc) I'm starting to think if it's worth fixing or not.
Any advice/opinions would be appreciated.
