Low Battery Warning and now Electronic Brake issues

Hi all,

After some advice/guidance - I have had my 59 plate Grand Scenic for about 4 weeks now, recently I got an intermittent warning message come up about a low battery. That seems to have stopped but now my automatic brake doesn't engage when I turn the ignition off. If I start the engine again and then turn it off the brake engages.
On a side issue I have an information message stating that a seat belt is fastened when in fact none are fastened, a process of elimination has narrowed it down to the middle, garage I bought it from have ordered a new wiring loom.

Re: Low Battery Warning and now Electronic Brake issues

Sounds like you're having similar issues to me. Have an '09 plate Grand Scenic and been getting low battery warnings intermittently since the colder weather has hit.

Plus over the last 2 days had parking brake warnings too, which like you as soon as stop and start the engine and engage and disengage the parking brake they go away!

Wondering if it needs a new battery, tested mine today at work after it had been parked up for a few hours and it was reading as 12.0v.
