Problems with breaking system, steering wheel, speed meter
I have a problem with my 2009 Grand Scenic III, 2.0 dCi, with automatic gear.
Few days ago a had big brake down: Fault on display "Breaking fault - STOP", steering wheel is not working properly, speed meter is not working (I can not see my speed). Also, when I stop: parking brake is not automatically switching on, steering wheel is not locked, I need to press for a few second start/stop button to switch of my car.
When I took it to official service they told me that I need to change complete hydraulic block for ABS system. When I asked them will this solve my problem with steering wheel and speed meter, they told me that they plan to fix ABS first and than they will see what happens with other faults.
Because all this thinks happened at one moment, I am not sure that their analysis to change complete hydraulic block of ABS is good.
Can you help me?
