Re: which brake discs & pads??

Safest way here is to take a wheel off and measure the diameter of the disc if there are multiple choices and while your at it if your up to it take out a pad and measure that as well..that will save you even more aggravation as well..see if you can see a manufacturers name of the calliper will also help..if your factor wants that price i would ask him who made them because you really don't want something that's been made in some backstreet in Cuba do you..

Without starting a new thread i wonder if anyone can help me. As many may know, when the ABS kicks in you hear like a motor/pump noise coming from behind the dash on the passenger side (at least thats where it sounds like its coming from). Im hearing that sound noticably when going over rough speed bumps. Should it be doing this? My front drivers brake is binding/squealing so i dont know if that has anything to do with it.

The brakes binding is the reason im going to change the brakes, im also going to grease up the caliper sliders with some castrol red rubber grease too to see if that cures the binding. Failing that a new caliper it shal be.

But ye should it be making that noise when going over harsh bumps?
