Re: scenic MK1 brake pipes
Can you be a bit more specific. Is it the flexible hose or the solid metal pipes that the tester has failed ?
The hoses are available from ECP (Euro Car Parts) about £15 ish.
If it is the solid pipes, a good smaller garage / workshop can make & fit them up using proper brake copper tube and flare on new ends. How this compares with price wise with the dealer prices I do not know (can someone else help here ?)
(I bought a roll of tube years ago (late 1970's) and a DIY flaring kit. Since then I just buy the new ends as and when necessary depending on vehicle, hence a new pipe costs me only a pound or so.)
