Electronic Handbrake motor

Hello all

The handbrake motor on my Grand scenic 1.5dci 2008 stopped working, i'm looking for a second hand one but i was told that the part number needs to match. Its difficult to find a motor with the same part number, what i need to know if this is true does it really need to be the same part number?

I need to resolve this quick, any info is welcomed, many thanks for your help.

Re: Electronic Handbrake motor

There's a thread, fink it's titled EPB fault. Within the lst 6 months discussing EPB motors. IIRC we landed on those for radio controlled moel boats being similar.

Re: Electronic Handbrake motor

The problem you have parts numbers change all the time. Why do you need to replace the complete unit?
