when bleeding the brakes, you should always make sure there is lots of fluid in the reservour, and that it does not run dry as air can then get into the master cylinder or (worse still) the ABS module.
always keep checking and topping it up every 5-10 pumps of the brakes.
if air gets in, top the reservour to the upper limit and leave it overnight to see if the air goes up the pipework by itself.
