scenic 2 rear brakes help

hello hoping someone can help me i recently fitted new discs and pads and a new handbrake cable to my scenic diesel the electric handbrake model they seam to work perfectly the but on the dash it says brake fault stop i have put my obd reader on and its showing no faults i took the car to a friend who has the new snapon diagnostic equipment but his equipment showed no fault either also on occasion the car brings up low oil pressure fault not sure if this has anything to with the brake fault or a coincidence but its driving me mad its a 2004 1.5 dci if that helps

With new pads and cable, may have disturbed the amount of travel of the Electronic parking brake module.
Which will throw a fault.

OBD2 readers will not read the module, needs to be a Renault Clip or garage diagnostic unit that will read the module to reset/clear fault. Some will, not all.
Some faults will self clear in time after ?? fault free operations. Not sure if yours will.
Currently in Dancingdad's garage:
Qashqai 1.6 spark driven, Kia Sedona 2.9 TDI, Scenic II 15DCi 2004 (SORN) not quite RIP.
