Have you unplugged the EPB box at the rear?
If so & the P is still there, then it needs a Technician with correct software to map the EPB out.

Yes I have, I suppose I could plug it back in, didn't think of that, I'll give a go tomorrow. Mot due on Monday!

So you have left the epb module plug in without the brake cables? Have you still got the switch plugged in? I have removed both.
Currently in Jon67's garage:
Renault scenic 2004 1.6

Sorry, I have two happily working EPB's on Both Scenics. Never modded to Manual.

Hi Jon
Did u get it sorted? We are having same problem too the diagnostic tool just cleared the fault and stopped it beeping - im assuming its going to come bk tho - plugging epb back in just came up with same parking brake fault and awaiting mot too wld be nice if could find solution before the mot but if all else fails i suppose a non beeping fault message is better than no handbrake at all.
