Angry Is it me .or are Renault brakes ****!

Ok, here we go, 04 Clio2 1.5dci 100, 22k front rear discs and pads replaced after 2yrs.

2007 rear discs replaced (you know the expensive ones) 300 odd

2007-2008 front pads, replaced, front wheel bearings rubber bushes. Spring 2008 rear discs replaced warranty, (one had split from centre to outer)

Now at 47k, under moderate braking i get vibration through the steering from the near side front, also like a metallic noise whn pressing the brake pedal at a stand, now these pads have only done 3k??

I guess the above is a warped disc, but just worried incase it could be connected to the wheel bearing change?

I have never been known to be particulary hard on brakes but this is getting beyond a joke, seems if it has to be in the garage every month or so to get the brakes striped and cleaned, especially during winter with the salt we get on the roads up here in winter.

Or are they all the same, if so trading the thing in....

Currently in Car147's garage:
2004 Clio Dynamique DCI 107bhp

Mine as done 37000 miles it as drum rears but
all linings, pads and discs are original, fronts
will need replacing just the pads in 5 or so
k miles, best brakes I have ever had on any
small car cant fault them even the anti lock is
excellent with just the right amount of intervention.

Hi. I've done 27000 mls in my Clio DCI 80 and it too is still on original brakes again with drums on rear. Just past it's MOT with an advise for front discs so will get them changed before next one.
