The spring clips (in your link) sit in the pad carrier which is part of the caliper carrier on that set up, they are normally ok and just require a clean up.
When you remove them clean away any rust from the carrier where the clips sit and put a smear of copper grease on before refitting the clips, add a dab of copper grease to the tangs of the pads that sit in the clips.
You sometimes get a new set of the spring clips supplied with the new pads, but that may just be with premium quality pads.
