Diagnose, on the other hand, have to switch the laptop on, shake my head, not too hard,( just seen how much it costs for teeth) price condition them by going tut tut, 25 an hour
But that can be 15 minutes, if they are nice, or a hour and me playing solitaire, if they dont offer the obligatory brew
Do you not have a tariff, I did:-
+10 a time for Drawing blood or a Burn.
+20 if the customer watched / "helped".
+5 / engineer / Hour without drinks supplied.
Rooms without Air-Con in Summer strangely suffered a delay.
Trouble was, I didn't see any of the gold, the company did.

Gawd!! You are way too cheap When that guy came back to you should've upped the rate to at least 30ph seeing you've got his crap to sort out.
When I need a job doing next I think I'll pay your rate + train fare down here cos I'd still be quids in (55ph +VAT round here ).

Don't take without giving in return

Re: Mentioning Brakes

This is where I dropped a B-------, this week,
Guy wanted a price for parts and labour, after his car failed The Mot, but worked on this car for 6 years, as it was his wife's.
Gave him a price, my prices are fixed, should a pin break , anything goes pear I stand the cost.
Not realised, he had tried to do some work himself, So link arms had been slightly undone, rust both sides of the nut.. so after a few curses, snap the link arm off, to put stilsons on,,,
Cut my thumb, can not charge the normal cut fee, of 10.
And Because I am a smoker bleed like a pig....

One of the most wonderful things in life is to wake up and enjoy a cuddle with somebody; unless you are in prison.

I'm thinking same.
I mean, 10 notes for fuel to Stoke, twenty five quid to Ourkid and I'll bring my own flask of coffee.
Still cheaper then the lad I use for diagnostics if I get stuck.... which isn't often at his prices.
