ABS Pump - Laguna

Hi, wondering if anyone can help:

I need an ABS pump for a Laguna but despite contacting many suppliers / breakers, no-one seems to be able to locate the part.

The garage tells me that the part number is 10.0960-1428.3 as displayed in the photo - yet many people say I need a Renault "7700" or "8200" number which I don't have.

Any help appreciated.

Re: ABS Pump - Laguna

Hi thanks for the advice but I already seen that site. They don't sell the part as such they want me to send the faulty part to them for it to be reconditioned. The garage told me they already tried that with another supplier but they said it was not repairable as too much water got into it.

Thanks anyway.

Re: ABS Pump - Laguna

Hi, you will need the Renault part number which starts 8200 then a batch of 3 numbers another 3 numbers and sometimes a letter on the end. The number should be on the pump part of the unit, usually a black cover shaped like on an aerosol can but this is sometimes very rusty!!
On my Laguna the ABS pump is situated on the RHS of the car (looking from the front) and basically below and behind the headlight unit. To get to the pump you need to take off the wheel arch liner and the front bumper (very easy to do!). I read the Renault ID number by lying under the car with a torch and a mirror. I have problems with my pump (abs & esp lights on + diagnostic) and I'm going to get mine refurbished. The problem buying second hand is how long it will last and if you get a different one to the original Renault part number i) will it work ii) you may have to have it reprogrammed to the car

Hope this helps
