Any ABS fault WILL illuminate the Brake fault light.
So if the MOT man put a new sensor on, it is more than likely that the ABS light was on before repair.

Re: 2003 clio brake warning and stop light

I would think that the level switch had to be closed to put the light off
so disconnecting the plug would put the light on fail safe no connection
light on.

Re: 2003 clio brake warning and stop light

Hi folks, I am still no closer to getting the stop light and brake symbol turned off. I have changed the brake fluid sensor and the light is still on. I can't figure out why the handbreak switch only has 1.2/1.3 volts coming through it tho.
Should I get a shot of a computer thingy to check for faults??

The hand brake switch, how many wires going to it, just one, or two.
