Hi All, I have a 2011 Grand Scenic (MK3) The Electric Parking Break will not release when you attempt to drive away. I have read the fault code with a Renault Clip and I get this current fault (DTC516C64 Manual Command). I can release and apply the Parking break with a Renault Clip so I assume the Callipers are OK. When I try to release or apply the Parking Break with the Dash switch it just goes from a solid red led to a flashing one and the break does not release. I have changed the switch but no difference. Any thoughts any one? I see lots of help with the MK2 on the forum but not so much for the MK3. I know the clutch position sensor is involved in releasing the parking break as it the slope sensor. From looking at the readings from the Renault Clip I can see that the clutch position sensor is working as it does vary depending on how far down the clutch is. I cant recall what the slope value is reading, I will check it later. Any help or guidance would really be appreciated. I had the parking break warning on the dash for a few weeks but was able to clear it as it was only a stored fault and not a current one but now it is a hard fault and the clip will not reset it.
