Brake Judder

Does anybody know why I am suffering excessive brake judder?

2004 Renault Laguna Sports tourer 1.9.dci 120bhp from new 70,000.

I renewed the Brake discs and pads around two years ago and the trouble has only just started within the last month.

Last week I took the brake callipers off which are around three years old, took them apart, cleaned the pistons but still the judder.

On another note, on the front drive wheels is it normal for only one to have power or should they both be the same?
Currently in horne65's garage:
One Laguna ll, 2004, 1.9dci, One Clio 1.5dci 2005 = 100bhp, 2014 Corsa 1.4 Turbo, 2011 Audi A1 1.6 Diesel

Re: Brake Judder

Did you check, in no particular order:-
Discs for warping?
Tyres for Blebs / uneven wear?
Balancing?
Bottom Ball Joints?
Track rod ends?

Both wheels should have power. But if Jacked up, only the jacked one will spin.

One tyre has uneven tread but had tracking done as soon as I noticed a long time ago, no other issues with tyres.
Balancing will need doing soon.
Track tods fine done two years ago.
Bottom Ball joints not sure but have an MOT soon so I am sure they will tell me if it needs doing.
