Question Renault Scenic 2 - Checking Front Brakes

I have a 2004 scenic. Can anyone tell me how to check my front brake pads.
Is it easy enough to fit new pads myself.
Do I need any special tools.

Re: front brakes

You'll need to remove the front wheels to check the thickness of the brake pads which should be no thinner than 7mm (including backing plate).
A few decent tools and a G clamp should be sufficient for the job.

Have a read through the thread below.
