Yes continue pushing Renault, as I would NOT believe what Renault have implied. They've basically implied that they have sent letters to 500k (1/2 a million) Clio Mk2 and Campus owners...guess what we have received continuous indications that people HAVE NOT received it. So we totally believe you!
If everyone had received them, then why are Renault sending a new letter by RECORDED POST to everyone again? Actions speaker louder than words....
Second point, if there is no issue, why are they 'inviting' owners to their dealerships.....
Third point, Renault implied it was down to maintenance - even though their mechanism was designed to be maintenance-free. Design-fault methinks then?
Hmmmm.....Renault don't really seem to get it do they. Open admission is the best and only way forward!
Oh and when Renault is doing a proper recall for the Scenic part-fault (door-mirror component wiring that catches fire) - they are also finding people are not receiving their notification - so the same issues even when a PROPER recall is followed.
What a mess, hey?
