Well it's kind of reasuring, that we are not the only country that have poor dealerships.
In most businesses, when you go to the specialist, they are the ones that know the item inside out. They do the job faster, understand the item the best and are able to get the spares cheapest.
So why, when you go to a Renault dealership direct, you get hit with a bill that is AT LEAST 3 times as much?? (In my case 9.5 times as much!!) God I hate Dealers.. A key £75 to £275. A [glossary=Timing belt]Timing belt[/glossary] £1000.oo to £1400.oo, A thermostat £150! What sort of people are they? It's verging on the EVIL.
What is a great shame is, although the Grand Espace is no sports car, or a performance vehicle of the type I had when I was a young car enthusiast; (what a waste of life, in hine sight that was) It has a great comfortable and pleasant drive, that I have not had in many of the more mundane vehicles that I have had. Such a pitty that the whole thing is let down by the greed and painful rubbish the dealerships feed you. Rupert.
