Look underneath for the brake unit.
3 cables come out of it plus the electrical connection.
2 of the cables go to the back wheels.
The third is the emergency release.
It's not unknown for the bit in the boot to disappear and the cable being left dangling. The inner needs a good tug.
It should go to boot floor and disappear inside.
If it does, you know where to look.

Again, yellow handle can disappear so all that sticks up is what looks like the end of a bike brake cable.
That's the beasty.
